Cheapest way to fly to Hawaii?
I am looking for cheap flights to Hawaii. Would leave from
Phoenix or California. I have complete flexibility as to time
of day and dates. Would priceline be my best bet and if so
how much should i bid?
Try united airlines,hawaiian airlines,delta,northwest,us airways,alaska,continental,aa.

If you are kind of small get a large suite case and mail yourself there (smile) or just goggle on air lines to get the cheapest price. Have a good trip.

(lol) ok now for a serious answer to your question
Priceline is listing weekday flights from Phoenix to Honolulu for $503 round trip on United Airlines
Also listing weekday flights from Los Angels to Honolulu for $439 on Delta and Northwest
If you need airfare only I would just do Priceline and bid maybe $50-$75 below that suggested price, if they dont accept it you can always go up to the price they already have listed
If you need airfare/hotel/car talk to a local travel agent, they can usually bundle up a package for you and save you a lot!

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Use a site like expedia.com, travelocity, priceline–they’re all basically the same, I haven’t found one to be cheaper than another.
I’ve found that if I wait until about two weeks before I want to leave before buying a ticket, I can get a cheaper price. This has always be the case for me but I reccomment constantly checking ticket prices.
Leave on a weekday.
Better yet, leave on a holiday. My cheapest plane ticket to HI was when I left on Christmas day.
